Nature’s Educators Visit Troop 868

For anyone who didn’t see it in the paper, there was a nice article about the meeting we recently had with our guests, Nature’s Educators. Troop 868 Life Scout Justin L. recently completed his Eagle Scout Service Project in benefit this organization.

VFW Buddy Poppy Volunteers

Scouts from Troop 868 helped the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4266 distribute Buddy Poppies and miniature flags in Parker at WalMart and King Soopers on Nov. 6 & 7. 
10 scouts participated, providing a total of  27 hours of community service!

Pioneer Trails Fall Camporee 2010

26 members of Troop 868 attended the Fall Camporee that was put on by Pioneer Trails district. We had a great time, and got quite a bit of advancement done as well!

Nate Higgins’ Heroism Award

Ave Maria Tree Removal Project

On Saturday, September 5th, our troop removed 14 dead trees at Ave Maria Catholic Church as a Service Project.

At the Rockies Baseball game on August 28th, Pack and Troop 868 had the honor of presenting the flags at the beginning!
